Hey I was curious to know what you guys with stock or semi stock A4 LT1s with 3.23 gears are using as a launch technique. Right now I brake torque to about 1800, and spin like a **** Is there a better way to launch my car, or do I just need to upgrade from the crappy salad shooters?

 

I cut a 2.0 60' on street tires by stalling to 1100-1200 then just dropping it....this was also on 7 cylinders though BTW, I had 25 psi in the rear tires.

 

i just sit there at idle. then when the lights go down, give it half throttle. if not spinning, then start giving more gas. now, on drag radials, i can just floor it from an idle and have no spin. stock converter and 3.23 gears in both of my cars. 99 formula and 99TA.
