I look at thing differently I guess, that kid had a 11 year newer car with mods, so you beat him by 2 lenghts and then some. Sure he has a 4 cylinder but 4 cylinders have come along way since 94 hehe.

I am not sure of the authenticity in the performance claimed by the S2000's two modfications, but stock for stock it should be close. I am thinking that since you are an auto, the higher the speed you take it up to, the more of a chance you are giving for him to catch up. S2Ks are geared very well. As rskrause stated, they are a pain to launch though, and require a good driver who is willing to drop the clutch from a high engine speed. You may beat him simply because it is harder to get all of the pontential out of an S2K.
