Stall rating and nitrous?
Right now with the 3600 Yank, I have the nitrous coming on at 4k. It comes on about (almost) two car lenghts off the line. This is good for 1.58 60ft. times. I really don't want to have it come on to early with the extra stress in puts on the stock shortblock. But I want some better 60s and a chance at a high 10. So what do you think? Would having it come on at 3600 help flash the converter more, or should I set it at 3400? Thanks.

I hae mine set to come on at 2000 and I launch with mine right off the line. The stall won't let the engine bog down so I wouldn't worry about it. If you had a 6 speed and it bogged then you might have a backfire but the auto with stall will make the rpm's jump up quick. I run a 4000 stall in my car and it stalls to 5200 on the bottle. Your will probably flash to around 4500-4600 on the bottle right off the line. You should have no problem getting into the 1.4 60ft range and hitting the 10's.

Nostang96, 2k, are you kidding me. No mercy huh? Maybe in the future with a built 355 I'd drop down to 3k, but that's it.

So far the car dead hooks, even with no track prep, on T&T nights. Maybe I'll try 3400 with a smaller fuel jet. It's pegged at 10 to 1 A/F right now.

It is not as bad as people think it would be. I have my car set up on a WOT switch by the time I get my foot to the floor my rpms are well above 2500 rpms so the 2k set on point doesn't matter. As long as you run a WOT you won't have any problems. If I had a 6 speed again I would set it at 3000.

Long story short (maybe). One NA pull, one nitrous pull on the new plate kit. Pressure switch for the bottle heater wasn't set yet, so it was at 950psi. The shop used a 62N and 41F jet. This pegged the wideband at 10/1. Gained 115rwhp over the NA pull. They said to up the bottle pressure to 1100psi and I did. Ray at Nitro Daves said this will not change the A/F to much and the correct jets (that still would be on the safe side for a 150shot are 62N and 38F. So come spring I'll try the 38F and lower the window switch to 3400.
