Springs and ET

Will new springs help my track times? I don't have times yet, but I plan to go soon. I know about the draglaunch springs (eibach), but will they change ride height (taller I assume)? Also, how will the draglaunch springs affect handling as this is a street car too (and I give it h$ll in corners)? Would 1LE springs help with handling and weight transfer?

I think taking off the front sway bar will give the transfer you want and best part is it dont cost a thing.....I know that didnt answer your question but it is another option.

How bad will removing the sway bar affect street handling? I've heard both ends of the spectrum, some had bad results, some didn't notice? If you have experience with it, how does the car react without one? Also, do I have to completely remove it, or can I just unbolt it (I know it wouldn't lose any weight this way)?

You can just unbolt it at the track if you want....I did that for awhile then just finally took it off for the racing season. It takes some getting use to and you cant be as aggresive on twisties but its not that bad.

The 1LE springs will improve your handling, but will hurt your weight transfer. If your wanting handling and weight transfer, i would say your best bet would be to get a good set of adj. shocks so you can adjust them to a soft setting for the track and a stiffer setting for everyday driving.
