anyone heard of ZOOM gears ?

I need a new set of 4.10s for my 12 bolt (yes .. broke a set already)

I can get a set of Motive and ZOOM for the same price new ... and for an extra $50 i can get a set of auburn ones ...

which set should i go for ?

i hear ZOOM has been around for a LONG time and makes good gears .... and i hear motive is cheapest around ... whats ur opinion ?

You are correct that Zoom has been around for a long time. One of their factories is located here in South Carolina. They make excellent products, and they make gears for other companies too. The rumor around here is that Zoom makes GM's high performance gear sets. I tend to believe that because I have a friend who thought he had a bad set of GM 3.73's. GM sent them to Zoom for inspection!

As far as price, Richmond (also in SC) typically has the cheapest price. But they generally have more gear whine than their competitors.

When I ran the 10 bolt I had Zoom 4.10's. I ran them for two seasons with no problems. In fact they are still in the ten bolt sitting at the shop.
