Spohn Tq Arm help needed.
I broke my stock torgue arm and bought a spohn unit. Now I have been adjusting this thing from -8 to -2 and it still hooks like crap. The stocker was way better. Do I have the formula backwards?
driveshaft angle - pinion angle= total pinion angle?
Is that correct? Should the pinion point more towards the ground or up toward the car?
thanks,
Jeff

The driveshaft and the pinion shaft should form a "V" pointing down at the ground. That way, when the pinion shaft noses up under load, it will "straighten out" the V. I run -3deg.

screw the formula, just put the gauge on the pinion shaft and point it 3 deg towards the ground, this is how i set mine i pull 1.5 short times and pull the wheels 6-8 in, i have a guage just for pinion angle, i forget who makes it.... adjust this setting at ride leval... so all four wheels on the ground.....

Thanks man, I am going to try that. Maybe its cause my nittos are about 4 yrs old... But I was expecting way more than that.. Best I got is a 2.1 and I have just about all you can do to a rear suspension other than Hals and airbags.

I'd get some new DRs or Street slicks then start cursing the torque arm.
