Ask for Greg Moser if you want to give them a call.
I wouldn't ask for Greg since him, his wife and his plant manager (and wife) died in a plane wreck back in May.

My brain was multi-tasking when I wrote that. I still can't believe that happened. He was such an outstanding guy.

They modify them so they are a direct bolt in.
Everyone has said it but I will say it again so you know how much this is going to matter, get the new rear your going to need it.
Unless of course you want to see how many hard launches it takes to grenade a stock rear.

It looks like u will need a 12 bolt. Within 3 monthes of putting Nitto drag radials on my car. And mabey a total of 5 launches on slicks wore my stock 10 bolt out, all of a sudden one day my rear end starting crying louder and louder until soon after it snapped like a twig. I was also running 1.6-1.8 60fts... Those 60s are to much for a stock rear end.

after it broke i bought the Moser 12 Bolt with all the goodies and LOVE IT! Its a bad azz rear end!!!!!!!!! If you decide to get it and have any questiosn while putting it on feel free to email me. The order some of the stuff you have to have pressed on the axles can be confuseing and other minor little things will come up.... Bolts right in though.

As I recall, I needed some clips for the brake lines, new u-joint, I had the drive shaft shortened a hair (but maybe that was because I had switched from a manual to an automatic), I used the old brakes. I ordered mine with the TA cover and ABS. So far, 2 1/2 years later, and probably 600-700 passes, I have not had any probelms at all. There is and always has been a slight whine at certain speeds when I drive on the street but with longtubes and a flowmaster that is the least of the noise issues surrounding my car. I use standard rear end lube with the GM additive (no synthetic).

The other area of concern may be the transmission as mine slipped on day one with the stroker but I would probably take a wait and see attitude. The rear you will need. You should have a lot of torque in your setup and it is a real bummer to break something like a rear end.
