The 306 is probably the best and the 847 is a close second. The 847 has better lowend and midrange than the 306 and will be a better choice if you drive the car a lot.

He is already running an off the shelf cam much larger than a 306. He is just looking to see how fast a 6-Speed car has been on the motor with the stock PCM with an off the shelf cam versus a custom ground cam.

What brand is the cam you are currently running and what are the numbers@50? duration 23X/24X? lift 57X/60X? My car and yours would be a really close run huh? Look at my sig.(11.24@120.8mph) except I am an auto with a higher gear setup for n2o. I plan on running 10's N/A with my new heads also in a couple weeks. Later and good luck.

Oh, mine is a 355" LT1 and I ran those times early this year when it was about 500' above sealevel. Blksunshine Lloyd Elliott is doing some new Trickflows and a LT4 intake. Should make some more power we will see. Later
