I need to get a helmet to run my car at the local track since I'm sure I'll go faster than 13.9. I know it needs to be a snell 90, but not really sure of brands to look for and I didn't want to just go to the local bike shop.

If you need a dual-purpose helmet (for motorcycle riding and car racing) then you can't go wrong with the closeout deals from the motorcycle places. I got an HJC helmet, snell-2005 rated for $70 bucks from one of the places, but can't remember which right now. The link above has some for $75.

Just make sure you get one that is at least snell-2005 rated, you don't want one that is snell-2000 rated or you might not pass tech.
