Proper technique for M6/2 step/Line Lock?

I have heard about M6 guys using a line lock and a 2 step to get better launches. I know how each individual unit works (line lock locks front brakes til you release button and 2 step gives you 2 rev limiters), but how do you use them together? Basically, what is your left foot doing when you are staged (when do you drop the clutch)? Thanks.

Some people will use their line lock to hold the car at the line while they release the clutch untill it just starts grabbing which takes up the slack in the drivetrain. The tricky thing is you have to release the line lock just as the light goes, drop the clutch, hit gas, shift etc... Sounds fairly simple but it's a little tricky in reality I think. I have a line lock with my M6 and I thought about trying it before but I havn't yet. I don't think it would be too good on the clutch heating it up as your about to launch, with a stock style clutch like mine it would probably smoke it riding it at 4k or so before launching like that.
