Post your 60' times. I need help.
It seems I can't cut under a 2.2 60' (cut a 1.99 the other day, big deal) with all the mods in sig at a 1700 ft elevation. Granted I've not practiced launching too much but damn. My best run was a 13.5 @ 106 with the 100 shot. I ran 13.6 @ 107 last fall before the headers. I have a slight exhaust leak at the header to y-pipe flange but I doubt it's hurting me too much.
Please post your ET, MPH, 60', Manual/Automatic so I can get a sense of what everybody else is running.

Get you some tires that will hook like Nittos if possible. Most people with street tires usually hang around the 2.0 mark and with you throwing nitrous in the mix it will probably be worse. I have a lot of susp. work done and also running ET Drags so this is why my 60s are in the 1.5s. Where are you trying to launch your car? I have a 6 spd and when I had the stock rearend and was running Nittos I would launch around 4500 on motor and somewhere between 3500-4000 on the nitrous depending on how good the track was set up. On street tires I would probably just go from 2000-2500 and try to find the best spot to launch.
Hope this helps some

i cut 1.51-1.52 60's on my Hoosier Quick time pro's on nitrous,11.25@119.
When i was cutting those 60' times,i had QA1 front shocks/springs,no front swaybar,sfc's,8 pt rollbar,Spohn LCA/brackets,stock torque arm/bushing,stock rear shocks/springs/swaybar.
Car will cut 1.66 n/a while running 12.38@108.
First problem i see is you are trying to hook on ROCK hard f1's,not even remotely the best choice, especially when nitrous is introduced.

My old 85 IROC went as follows:
1.80 60 foot
14.40
96 MPH
That car hooked VERY well on 275 Nitto Drags w/3.73 gears. stock suspension.
My latest car has gone with a 100 shot:
1.84
13.30
105mph
With a 150 shot it's gone:
2.05
13.15
107mph...
You can see how the added power is obliterating the tires. first gear is useless with a 150 shot however it's perfect with a 100 shot. My launch was foot to the floor, flip the switch to spray, spin to redline and shift WHILE spinning and spin more in second till it hooked.
So far anyways. Track prep is very important also. my 2.05 60 foot is terrible so far but listen, the best 60 foot i've ever gotten with the 100 shot was 1.84! It used to hook and GO with no spin. Now with a 150 shot AND bigger 315 Nitto's it smokes the tires to a 2.05 60...very dissapointing but harnessing an extra 50hp and maybe 75lb ft more tq is hard to do from a dead stop. BEsides the 50 extra hp of nitrous I've also lowered the car and added road race shocks, tighter springs, and bigger sway bars defeating the bigger 315 nitto drags. To counter it I'm installing LCA relocation brackets, pulling the front swaybar, and maybe an adjustable torque arm, and test different tire pressures which I haven't done yet. Once I install my new trans and 4200 stall converter, I THINK I'll be getting a set of Mickey Thompsons new 17" Et Strets which are 26" tall, 11.5" wide for a 17" rim...People claim it won't hook good since it has a small sidewall buit I think it'll rock so i'm trying them as soon as I see them for sale. Goodluck!

With my old engine (270 rwhp) and stock 80 Z28 suspension I was running 1.9 - 2.0 60' times on 235/50 15 BFG Radial T/A's.
Automatic Transmission 2500 stall, 3.42:1 gears, launching at 1800 rpm.

It is almost impossible to compare times from different tracks, with different cars, different drivers, and different weather conditions.
Number 1 is get some tires. That is literally where the rubber meets the road. Taller sidewalls are better than shorter sidewalls for launching. Get a linelock, it is easier on the car and easier for the driver to do a decent burnout with the proper tools.
Practice your driving. Work on reading the track so you can launch in the groove. Report back.
