Okay I know he does a good job, he even did my PCM but are you working for him? I mean you are posting this in every forum without really explaining why he is so great.

Quit yapping about how great his work is until you get some numbers to back up that claim.

All i know is I felt a big difference from my tuning by pcmforless, and for 100 bucks its better than other mod for the money and performance you gain.

So far with my hooker lt, hot cam setup Im running the times in my sig.

I still need to see where my best place is to shift, get a better clutch (the stocker is so shot I can't even drive my car in regular city driving), and I redid my intake to get colder air.

we'll see what happens with a better launch.

Let me clear up some info on Rocks car.
Our shop (AtoZ Performance) did a set of JPR S2 LT1 heads on Rocks car along with a HOT cam and most of the boltons (Hookers, cutout, plugs, wires,tb,etc)It has a ST3800/12-bolt 4.10 residing in the undercarraige. This setup pulled 322.4 RWHP UNLOCKED and ran 12.28@110 pretty consistantly. Not too bad considering the cars 3675lbs race weight but still not enough OOMPH....

Rock wanted more so I called a buddy at COMP and they reccommended a 230-236 545-555.We also installed the ewp at this time.

Brian from PCM FOR LESS came to our shop and retuned the car..
NEW NUMBERS after retuning were 339.8RWPH UNLOCKED.The car idles perfectly, cold starts perfectly and flat out runs great.Thats an increase of 17.4RWHP from the cam,ewp and tuning. The best part is the car only peaked 200 rpm higher with the 230-236.We're shifting it at 6400 now and should have it back to the track REAL soon.

FWIW with the verter LOCKED it put up 359.6RWHP
IMO this is pretty good for a 12-bolt/4.10/ST3800 STOCK short block H/C LT1
All I need to do is get ROCK to lay off the cruellers, bearclaws at Dunkin and the car should be about 15lbs lighter

Seriously,PCM FOR LESS is great!!
Brien Herder is a VERY good guy and very knowledgable...
We're very happy with the results of ROCKS car and hope to run 11.80's@113 in the comming months. Now if I can only talk ROCK into putting a 100 shot on the car,we might have a 10 sec pass from the car?

We'll see....

Raptor the sheets are at my work,I'll look the sheet over and give u the correction factor on monday.I dont remember off the top of my head. We're pretty happy with the results and to tell ya the truth the 230-236 actually idles better than the hot cam, weird?

My car pulled 322hp/382tq (Before Bryan at PCMFORLESS) with no head work. That's just with a little old Hotcam.

I would expect more with a PnP head work.

I really don't like to compare dyno's on the board, the truth is on the track. Take it to the track than come back here and show us the numbers.

I agree with u 95Z,Dyno numbers are good for tuning and setting the proper A/F ratio's so u can get the most out of your setup.

FWIW the car has already run 12.20's@110 at 3700lbs in +1100DA's w/ the ported heads and a hot cam.The new setup will dip into the 11's come Oct/Nov.

95Z I was curious, whats the weight of your car?
What was the DA when u ran the 12.00's?

The DA was about 600ft at the time.

Car weight is about 3500lbs

Not too bad 95Z.I wish we could get Rocks car down to 3500?
We've done alot of lightening but its still 3670!!!

At your weight the car mightve run 11.90's with the old setup in +1100 DA's,I hope we click off consistant 11.80's with this new package. That would make Rock very happy.

Good luck with your setup 95Z,Sounds like a nice combo.

Damn people! good job with these f-bodies here in the philly area! It's nice to hear what's going on in the area. I always knew there were some f-body guys around that have some serious mods but could never find them.

Hope to meet up with youz (philly slang ) some day.

Heavy

PS- the chevelle will be on the road soon!
