Nittos or BFGs?

I was wondering which drag radial should I get? Nittos or BFGs? I plan to mount them on stock 2002 Z28 wheels. Any suggestions would be greatly apprecaited. Thanks.

For track and street use go with the Nitto's. For track only use go with the BFG's. I hear the BFG's hook better, but don't last as long. I got 13k out of a set of Nitto DR's. That was with street/strip use and pulled a best of 1.70 60ft.

I gotta say that my Nittos are wearing great. I have been using them all summer and they have quite a few passes, plus all the miles the car has been driven this year. My friends tell me that the BFG's do wear out fast.

I have gotten a 1.78 60' on my Nitto DR's. I do not have any problem running them on the street.

About tires, just wondering, but how long do street tires last on you guys cars? I am looking into getting some 3.42's and i know traction will be a problem. I am thinking of getting some nitto drag radials, but i also use this car as a daily driver with about 60 miles a day round trip. Also, it rains here alot. I want to be able to hook/ be able to safely drive in rain. What tire should i get?

I worried about those things before I got the drag radials. I have been satisfied with the wear. I only have 2500 on them though. I drive at the speed limit or a couple under when it is raining. They increase traction at the drag strip even after the first 60'. My ET lowered by .25
