pullin the front wheel on a 1.9 60' .. pic and vid inside ;)

Picture
Video

That was launching at 4000 on a 50 shot ... damn 28x10.5 ET drags mean no bullsh*t

dont laugh at my mis matched panels (if some of u remember i crashed my car earlier in the season .. no money to get it painted)

on the next run i tried to make a strong NA pass, dumped the clutch at 5500 on the 2step limiter and destryoed my 1350 yoke and u joint and my posi ...

all of that should be fixed for next weekend .. lets see if i can get a decent launch out of this damn car . .it either spun the old ET streets, or bogs on the new et drags .. or breaks half of the drivetrain

Question: the hals were set to 2's up front and 6 and 7 out back .. would stiffening up the fronts help bring both wheels off the ground next time ??

Keep the front shocks loose. That is what allows the weight to quickly and efficiently transfer from front to back. My car normally launches the same way with one wheel up and my sixty foot times are currently low 1.6's...

You will need subframes and/or a rollcage to help stiffen the chassis to avoid too much flex before you turn your car into a pretzel.

Air bags and/or anti-roll bar will get both tires off (while lowering 60ft times). Don't think I've pulled both yet, cause the left one just comes up higher each time. My right air bag will have more in it next time to see if it's possible.

I do have a 5 pt cage and subframes in the car (needless to say)

and i also have a 26mm bar in the back with poly bushings etc ..

i guess i'll invest in an airbag .. or try playing with my hals on the back a bit more ...

I am running bfg's Stock Stall and heads.....1 on the fronts and 3 in the rear on my hals......Tire up
Tire up 2

Thats on a 1.88 60'.....I guess its all in the setup....
Good Job .......I have been looking to do the same...Pull both up.....gonna try front impact thingy removal and moving battery to the back...I hope that helps a lil bit....We shall see......

I don't know how you guys are getting the front left off the ground. I know my pig is nowhere near pulling the wheels and I am cutting similar 60's/ETs. Maybe skinnies will help my turd get out of the hole harder.

I'm asking for Hals for Christmas.

I'm pulling mid 1.6x 60's and I'm not yanking the fronts yet.

Yeah high 1.6x's and low 1.7's for me and no wheel yet I don't think. My dad just got a car and it came w/ a set of skinnies so I will try those out.

Yup, I had issues with it, about to give up on it.
A couple of things that had to be worked on, one was the grounding issues. I needed a ground in the rear and another ground in the front from the motor to the frame. The other issue was the alternator, I had to get mine replaced, just wore out.

As for the battery in the rear, just made it more consistant 60' times. The QA1's made the biggest differance of all.
