Nitto daily driver dudes

For the guys that have used/use Nittos 24/7, how many psi are you guys running? Even wear?

I have been running about 24psi and they are still not wearing evenly. I probably have about 7-8k (highway) on them, and the center tread is down to the bar, but the outer tread blocks look great. Obviously I need to run it lower. Just curious what you other guys run.

I am going to run it at about 19psi for a month (2500 miles) and see what happens.

btw...if you aren't running Nittos 24/7, get right with your wife/girlfriend/parents and go buy some!

I've had the 315/35/17 on for a year. Ran 22 psi for about 4 months, center was getting killed. For 6 months I have had them at 18 psi. The centers are now totally shot and the sides still have noticable tread on them. Aprx 11-13,xxx miles.

Before that I ran 245/50/16 on the stock rims for about a year also. Ran them at ~25 psi and those still had mucho tread on them compaired to the 315's.

Lightbulb I wonder why they wear so differently

Wow...sounds like we should've started around 20psi from the getgo. I will go ahead and run them around 15-17 and see what happens .

Thanks for the good info.

I have the 275/40/17 on my car. They have 15,000 miles of use and about 50 trips down the track. It is about time to replace as they are almost to the wear indicators. They have worn very evenly. I typically run between 28psi and 32 psi on the street and 18 psi on the track.

Alright,

I run 33 on the street, 17 at the track.

I would like to run 23 on the street, but I think handling would suffer to much. What do you guys think?

I was figuring that there would be some guys having different results...but everyone I know (personally) has had issues getting the outer tread to wear evenly.

I'm running them at 24-5ish right now, and they don't seem to handle any differently - once I drop them down under 20 I'm not sure it will be the same. Only one way to find out...

Im running 30 on the street and 18-20 at the track. I belive they are only rated for 10000 miles on the street anyway.
