Nitto 555r

On my recent C5 wheels I bought, the nittos that came with it have about 15% or less tread left. Anyway Im buying new tires, but till I do I need traction. Theyre 285/35/18s. Theyre running at 33 psi. What should I run them at for somewhat decent traction. Right now they leave a cloud of smoke behind me even on half throttle launches. Full throttle will leave the back of my car invisible to the person behind me with all the smoke. Or are these tires done for and have no chance of getting any type of traction at all.

555rs can be used on the streets. They were out rather quickly though. Few thousand miles I beleive?

The best psi for traction on Nittos is around 20, give or take a few, you gotta play with it. If you want life out of them, then keep the psi up around 30 I guess?

I use mine everyday and go down to the track almost every weekend.

I've had them about 5 months and there's still a little tread

I have anothe set on order.

I run 25 psi for daily driving and 20-25 psi when racing.
