Nitto 315/35/17 555R's tire pressure?

I emailed Nitto and asked them if there is a breakin procedure and they said "NO". I also asked what tire pressure to run and they said "put a mark on the rim and tire and spin the tire if the tire does'nt move then thats enough air!!WTF!!!!
Just wondering what you guys think about this?

I ran ~30 for daily driving. I'd suggest ~22-25 for the track.

I drive mine at 30psi I think and I ran them at 18psi HOT at the track last time out and it went 1.72 in the 60 as a best and many 1.76-1.85's. They might have more than that in them but I had to be very easy with the throttle. Once the converter flashed, it was hard to keep them from spinning. The 1.72 was full throttle about 30ft out. After the 330' I kept saying...no way did they just hook that hard I was impressed. They appreciate a GOOD burnout. Once you see smoke, let them smoke for 2-3 more seconds. Oh...and on a cold street, they don't hook under 70-80mph.. Oh and this was at the end of the tires life. Easily 10K miles on them. Middle of the tread basically gone.

I put them on C4 sawblade rims.

Thanks!! Your Car looks GREAT with those Rims!!! Do they wear the center even at 30 psi? I'll start at 18 Hot at the track and adj. up and down to see how they work. As for the cold i only drive the car in the summer when its at least 70 out and there are warning all over them about the cold.

So you dont have to do anything special to break them in?

Thanks! I've NEVER seen a Nitto DR wear evenly...The middle always goes bald first. Maybe 25PSI on the street will help the wear? I like to have them feel stable first and foremost. Even on an auto-x track they are stable and sticky as hell at 30psi. Goodluck
