New track times with my 224/230

For those of you who don't frequent LT1 tech

Best ET: 1.801 60' 12.650 @ 108.40 MPH

http://www.zmydust.com/videos/twelve65.wmv

Best MPH: 1.904 60' 12.727 @ 108.78 MPH

Conditions were temps in the mid/high 70's and around 74% humidity.

The corrected altitude was 1347 above sea level taking the barometric pressure, temp, Humidity, and dew points along the the water grains in the air. (from someone at the track with a weather statino)

This is on the pcmforless mail tune.. I'd really like to dynotune this car now.. trying to decide on the OBD1 conversion or not.. the stall thing has me concerned.

I should be ordering 3.73's here sometime as well, I don't think the 3.23's are cutting it anymore, 2nd takes forever to wind up it feels.. also Nitto's on the track I frequent don't hold up too well, I'm trying to dump 'em and go for a set of BFG's... too soon for ET Streets I think.

Looks like you need some more converter or some gear to get that 60' down and I would stay with OB2 if I were you and you shouldn't have any shifting probs. been there done that and thats why I finally stuck a Th350 in my car. I swapped from 3.23's to 3.42's back when I had my 4l60e with Hotcam and picked up very little so I would go 3.73's too. I plan on swapping converters next week and hoping to go 11.90-12.00's. Good luck

At another (semi) local track i can still cut 1.7 60's.. unfortunately most of the problem here is the track lol..

This track I usually spin through a 1.8x 60'... where as the other track is a dead hook almost bog.. where I definitely at least need more gear.

I understand. My car ran low 1.7's on 3.23's and ran 12.50@108mph with the Hotcam and minimal tuning no dynotune in the summer to boot. Later and Goodluck
