New mods, what to expect?
New mods, what to expect?
I just got my transmission fixed, TRANSGO, S-10 torque converter 2200RPM and built internals. I have no mods, but its a 1995 Formula Firebird A4. My tires are g-force T/A KDMS BFgoodrich, with about 2K on them and no burn outs on them.
Would it be possible to turn a 13 second time at 1100FT elevation, with a 95 degree temperature, with 50% humdity?

Re: New mods, what to expect?
I am thinking with all of the things you said it will be hard. What gears does your car have? If you have 3.23's and you stall it up good and have no traction issues I think you can.
Re: New mods, what to expect?
Basically you just hold the brake and give the car gas untill the torque converter wants to launch you which that depends on what size your stall is. I think it's going to be a litle tough for you to reach 13s with your mods and the other issues you have to battle with. Later in the year when it's cooler you may be able to. Get some 3.73s in there and and a good cat back exhaust and gut your cat. Practice your launches a little and then I think you have a good chance at reaching your goal.
Just a little FYI, good decision not to port the MAF sensor. It only causes problems in our cars.
