Headwind, anyone have any #'s?

I went racing in my Lightning, ran my best ET but not my best MPH..there was a 10 mph headwind.

Any online calculators that can get maybe corrected #'s??

I am not aware of any wind resistance calulators. It would be almost impossible to calculate due to the wind changing in resistance the entire length of the track.

I have seen my car pick up a couple of hundredths because a cross wind at the line changed to a tail wind at the stripe.

I think it would depend also, on how much your ride was shaped like a brick. No flame intended.

My truck is certainly no Z28 aerodynamic wise.

Like the others said, too many variables. Even if you could come up with a "ball-park" figure, as soon as the barometeric pressure changed you'd have to start over because that would change how easy the car (or truck) pushed through the air.
