Does Rick still drive the car? If so, HUGE props to him for that.

Thumbs up Re: New LT1 World Record

That's awesome! Big congrats!

HPE sounds to have the lowdown on getting the most out of the LT1's, but I keep checking their website for engine & other info, and it has plenty of LS1 stuff, but no update on the LT1 side of the house. Anyone know when it'll be up & running?

Still, congrats, and thanks for the videos, the car is flying!

Haven't heard of him prowling the streets with it, but you can drive about anything on the street pending the risk of cops pulling you over and starting trouble. Ever see that video of Dan Millen driving his 2100hp, low 7-second, 200mph trap speed mustang on the street? He even went through a burger king drive-through with it and ordered dinner, LOL. It's floating around somewhere on LS1Tech.com. The major problems come in when talking cooling ability and actually USING all the power the engine makes. Not practical by any means, but cool to see it when it happens. There's a few monsters around my hometown too, and you can hear them rumbling along from a mile away.

Re: New LT1 World Record

ChrisUlrich- I think you're confused about what the question was. I believe he was asking if Rick still drives the car at the track. Obviously this is not a street car. It is capable of driving through Burger King though :-P

TRICK95- Just because our website doesn't have much on it, doesn't mean we dont' do it! There's a LOT of stuff not listed on the website that we offer. You just need to call and talk to us. I will however see about updating the LT1 section a bit. I've got CNC'd LT1 heads that I think everybody might like...

But a 7 second/2100hp stang driving around town? LMFAO

Oh I'm not hating by any means, it's just when doing quick references, I was really looking into more in-depth info, for instance, on stepped, longtube Kooks, and I think I even have a link that was sent a while back to some photos of some, and was simply stating that it would be great if that portion of the site was up. I understand. I'll call you guys with regard to the longtubes & perhaps other stuff as well. Thanks, and congrats again!
