5/18/02- Stock LT1 with an A4 tranny. Fully loaded vechile. Leather, T-tops and 1/2 tank of gas. Track conditions; 95 degrees out, car was running 210 degrees. Only mod done was a Flowmaster 80 Series Muffler. Car ran a best of 14.62 with a 2.28, 60 foot time. Had car on Dyno and ran 230.2 RWHP / 265.6 torque. Vechile had 225/60/16 tires all around. At this time the car was running 87 octane.

10/05/02- Car went through a full tranny rebuild. The tranny was not bad, but I had it done anyways due to over 100,000 miles on it. Went with Raybestes parts, Synthetic fluid and a tranny cooler. An engine tune-up went also. Bocsh Platinum plugs, MSD 8.5 wires, PCV valve, and a new fuel filter. Also added was a Moroso C.A.I, Jet TB air foil, 1LE Elbow, Meziere Electric Water Pump, new harmonic balancer, LS1 Aluminum Driveshaft, 3" cut-out, and 3.73 gears. Car was on the dyno today at 251.3 RWHP / 281.5 TORQUE. I have went with 245/40/18 all the way around. ( I know that these are not going to help me on the track, but damn do they look good . It will still be weighed down but I will have a little less in the tank. I may need it to hook good though. Also I now run 93 octane. Track conditions will be better. The car will be sitting awhile and hopefully be cooled down to 165-185. And I here it should be around 70 degrees.

I know this is long, but I like to put every detail in things. Also it helps to give a better guess and other people with the same questions can see what they could run.

So what do you guys predict for me this Friday? I was thinking that with a little practice (that was my first time to the track in 5 years) and 20 or so degrees cooler I should knock off .3 for E.T. That would bring it down around 14.3 . Now given the current mods and better track conditions I was hoping to knock off .5 for E.T. My guess is that I run around a 13.8 . Now a 13.6 would be awsome though .
