New bone stock 2000 SS times

I made it back out to the track today. I ran a best of 13.53 @ 106.42 with a 2.25 60'. I'm still trying to figure out to launch this car. The LS1 is much more picky launching than my LT1 ever was. I think it's time for a lid and a cutout.

How are you running so much faster and trapping so much higher with that LT1? It probably only has 30 rwhp on the LS1.
Launching at 4500 RPM on slicks and powershifting at 6500 rpm makes the LT1 get down the track quick. I bogged on the launch in the LS1 to I probably still have another mph or so left in it.

I have seen LS1s dyno 310 and trap 103 and some dyno 310 and trap 108. Peak HP isn't everything.

Thanks. Should have some 'better than average' numbers next time out.
