How much of an improvement do you think I will see once I install my MSD wires, new plugs, remove the front sway bar, AC delete,an electric WP, and install my Hooker shorties? Any guesses?

Posted in tech as well. Looking for someone with similar mods to my future stuff listed above for comparisons sake.

Your gonna see a 12 second time slip if you can pull a 1.85 or better 60 ft! How deep in the 12's??? It all depends on you.

Those are some good times. You will be very close to nipping 12s or at least low 13s with the new setup. You gonna have it in by the 14th? You and I will have very interesting races if so. I just got a new best last night.

13.443@106.63 w/2.17 60'. Feathering it off the line and a couple bugs. I'm hoping to see a 12 second slip before the year is out. The ET streets are coming wiht me next time especially if you have all that stuff in.

EDIT: Saw a guy at Norwalk a week or 2 ago running 13.1s @ 104 with almost the exact setup as you. I think he had 3.73s though. He was pulling damn 1.7 60' times on street tires. I raced him a couple times. He was out like a ****.

Hows Jeff's car coming along? Those are some great times, the MPH for you is crazy. I'm hoping to have all of that installed by the 14th (Crosses fingers) but even if not i'm planning on going up. Got the camcorder ready for us too. I'm still learning how to launch the car now that I have a working rearend so once I get that down i'm hoping to be able to cut a 1.8 or so. Is Waswa going up? Not sure 'bout Jason, i'll ask him next time I talk to him. Were you up at 42 last night then?

 

No problem man. Jeff is still in Kentucky for work. he has been gone forever. I took a ride in his car and it feels like a 13.5 or so @ 103-4 Im guessing. For some reason he hooks up like a ****. My car has never gotten traction period. I even have SFCs, PHR, and LCAs like his car. I talked to Waswa yday when I broke my wheel stud and he said he will be there on the 14th. Hopefully the 2 Mustang guys will come too. I got both their #s and my buddy with the '01 Cobra vert has a hot GF that has a hot little sis. They were at the track last night with him. Got that on tape also.

Ya, I was up there last night. Pretty empty, i got 5 runs in by 9 and then left b/c it was starting to rain more and the weather wasnt all that good. Took long breaks too. My car has at least 108 mph in it if i can get it to run right. With slicks on it should be interesting. I have yet to run it with them. Next season is when the fun begins, aiming for 11s with the addition of TC and 3.73s. Got some weight reduction that will be done this winter too while it sits. Give me something to do.

We will definitely need a video camera or 2 at the track on the 14th. I got one too. Digital so we can put them online.

 

Kewl man, I had a buddy up there last night as well. He's got a 2000 Z, dark blue with 17" SS rims and it's lowered as well. Got an SS hood on it. Not sure of all his mods, I do know he's got Hooker cat back, mac shorties, lid and going 13 teens at 110mph with a best of 13.05 a few weeks ago. All that with a 2.73 rear. I haven't seen him run first hand yet but his cars quick.

 

Ya I saw him run. I didnt see him in the 12s yet. He is fast. It looked like more of a cowl hood than a SS though. Maybe I wasnt paying attention too much. lol It was fast though.
