Excellent times. Low 12's with the tuning is a definite. As far as weight reduction goes, I took out the back seats, spare tire and jack. That was a total of 60 lbs. Then I removed the A/C compressor which weighed another 35 - 40 lbs. A 100 lb. loss could net a possible .1 in the 1/4. Good luck.

Yeah I def need tuning. Its very rich and the shift points are all beat up. I still have the backseats in, forgot i had put the spare back in there. I don't have the a/c charged, I am still debating whether or not to take it out since its still my only car and it gets quite hot here in the summer.

Thanks everyone for the congrats.

Get Jeff to tune it again, and next time stall it up. You got that new best pretty much launching off idle. I am pretty confident that car has a 12.2X in it the way it sits.

Thanks man. Yeah I def know there is more in it, and its a good feeling. With some skinnies and a better launch it'll run a low 12. Not sure I'm gonna stick with the 3.42's though, might have to go back with a set of 3.73's cuz I think it pulled harder when it had the old gears in it. On top of the fact that peak power comes at 6200rpms and it gets shifted at 6400rpms, I don't think the 3.42's are hurting that bad but I don't think they are helping me out either.

I wouldnt be suprised if going back to a bigger gear actually helped it out quite a bit, since the combination of 3.42's and a 26" tire are putting you way down on the tach on the big end.
