New Best...First 12-second pass! (video)

I managed to make my first 12-second pass, running nearly 5 tenths better than my previous best of 13.2. I borrowed my buddy's ET streets and needless to say, they work. I will be ordering a set of ET streets ASAP. Here is what the run looked like:

60' 1.934
330' 5.347
1/8 8.221
MPH 86.127

1/4 12.770
MPH 108.261

I didn't do a very big burnout on this pass and I spun the tires pretty good out of the hole. If the tires were warmer, I think this pass could have been a 12.6-12.5. I launched at 4800rpm.

I didn't do any weight reduction, and I'm still running on the stock programming. I backed that run up with a 12.8 @ 107.8.

Heres the video:

12.77 @ 108

nice job 97 bowtie--those e.t. streets work great don't they? only tire i'll use. if you have $$ for more mods i suggest lakewood 90/10 drag struts and 50/50 drag shocks and you'll be even quicker. my 60 ft time went from high 1.7's to 1.58 with them. keep up the good work brother and good luck!!
p.s. did you check out the video i posted (watch this 305 kick a$$)

11.60-1/4
1.58-60 ft
116-mph
150 shot

Awesome run Daniel, congrats!! Hopefully I'll join you in the 12's soon, new clutch is on it's way and I got a set of BFG drag radials coming soon as well. We have to all hang out again before school starts again!!

Aaron, if its not too late...don't go w/drag radials...go with the ET Streets. I have ran with Nitto DRs, BFG DRs and Et streets...the ET streets are 100 times better man - although they may kill your rearend, the performance is awesome! My clutch was slipping - with a better clutch I'm pretty sure I can go 12.5-12.4 as it sits. I don't think I could do that w/drag radials. Yeah, we need to hang out again.

10.8 @ 126...I treed him real good, but he still ended up with a MOV of 1.2 seconds.

97bowtie- Good run man. My car will not come out of the 13s without a slick. I run 1.5x 60ft times and that is how my car runs what it runs.

When my car was running 12.20s the e.t. streets spun some.

I just run slicks now. Even though E.T. Streets are awesome, but tread life sucks.

BTW, I had BFG Drag Radials and just had one run that had a 60ft time below 2.0. They didn't hook worth anything.
