I was totally excited since I ran that, my friend who is a better driver was still 2 hundreths behind my best today. There were a bunch of 112+ traps as well. Car was consistently running in the 12.5s with me driving though. Then, we slicked it up - I let my friend drive, I don't care much for slicks - and it went:

Yep - It broke. He did a burnout, and slipped it out at 3000, and it didn't move! Dang, those 7.5s suck! Some people have good luck, some don't I gues...time for that homemade 8.8. We are gonna open it up next week and see whats broke, I hope its not the gears themselves, cause then I have to back to a 3.42. I like the 4.10s. I have enough spare parts to get it running tho, which is cool.

I think it might have cut a 12.1 or MAYBE an 11 with a good 60ft. We'll see soon enough.

 

congrats on your new best even though it ended on a sour note. Get er fixed and try it again.

 

Glad you are spinning it higher, you should gain quite a bit from a hard launch on slicks (12 bolt/9 inch of course) and get some serious times and even more gain in MPH. congrats

 

what color is your car? i was ther too but dont remember the passes you made...

 

Red 94 with 97 taillights - I had 17x11 silver ZR1s on with 315s. Then we put the Bogarts on it and thats when it broke!

I just saw your sig - you got 250K out of a stock opti! Thats insane! I got about 180K out of one, but it finally started to break up. Did you run your car? What color is it? How did it run?
