New best...

I haven't been on my computer in a while so these runs are from a couple of weeks ago. I got 2 runs in that night the second is my new best:

1st run:
R/T....877
60'...2.018
330...5.581
1/8...8.476
MPH...84.95
990...10.923
1/4...13.132
MPH...105.76

2nd run:
R/T....732
60'...2.021
330...5.523
1/8...8.373
MPH...86.04
990...10.794
1/4...12.977
MPH...107.00

The temp. dropped about 10 or so degrees after my first run. I'd say it was about 45 degrees out when I made my second run. Weather and temp certainly do make a big difference. Times were at Atco Raceway, N.J.

Talking

Congrat's on getting into the 12's. Yours is the fastest auto I've seen. Those LS1's are awsome, look at that MPH...107!!! I've seen some LS1 vette's (auto) that couldn't get out of the 14's at 99MPH. YOu have a beast there.

Thanks guys. I know most cars run better in the colder weather, but these LS1's seem to run outstanding in the cold temps.(with traction of course). When I ran this car in temps around 70-80 degrees I couldn't get my MPH too much above 104-105 or my e.t. much better than 13.3x. The car's still pretty young though with only 5800 miles on the odometer. So hopefully those times will improve a bit as the miles increase some more.

Good Run. Congrats on hitting 12s. Very fast. What kind of tires are you using? Because if you aren't using dr's or slicks then your time will pick up some more. Either way that thing is running good man.

Thanks...I'm using the the stock tires(GY Eagle F-1's). At some point I'll be getting dr's and a converter. Hopefully that will put me in the mid 12's.

Your welcome brtrlyrdls1z28.

I say if you can get a set of dr's that hook good and can hit some 1.8 60ft times you should hit 12.70s no problem and 12.60s on good runs. If your sixty foot times drop to the 1.7 range then you can run some 12.50s I would say. I am just going on experience on what my car does with improved 60ft times, I know I do have a mustang but the pickup in e.t. from improved 60 ft times should be the about the same. Keep it up and good luck man.
