Talking New Best....

Will the car just got faster.

Set a new best twice tonight.

First Run: <- This broke my best time
1.68 60'
7.7135@87.75 1/8
12.1463@109.91 1/4

Second Run: <- This broke the above time
1.67 60'
7.7006@87.83 1/8
12.1277@110.10 1/4

Not bad for just a tiny cam car.

Went two rounds tonight before getting beat out in the third.
Another first for me, because I'm always getting beat out in the first round.

Dang, Ken..

Get some good weather this fall and you'll be in solid 11's with stock heads and a "baby" cam.

Man congrats on those times!! Remember the big thread about my dyno #'s and my outrageous torque. Well went to the track (1/8). This was the first time I have been in about a year and a half. First pass I spun and run a 8.1 82mph with a 1.85 60'. I was a little scared when I saw those numbers but I knew that I had spun. I let the car cool, head back pull the gear selector in 2nd do a hella burnout and stage. I launch the car pulls hard I am thinking this is a great run. I get a little ways from the line when the stock limiter comes in at 6500 rpms where Bryan was told to set it for other reasons. I was so mad I did not see the times I run. I pull around get the time slip and behold a 7.84@84 with a 1.70 60'. I was mad and happy at the same time. So the track was about to close I pull back around for a hot run and get a 7.90@87.52 mph with a 1.71 60'. Man it took me 2 days to get the smile off my face. I even called my buddy that was visiting Alanta to let him no(Rockafella). I just wonder what that 2nd run would have been if it had shifted into 3rd? Man I hate to eat up your thread but just thought I would share. Hope to get some times like yours before to long .

Later Jason
