New Best

I headed out to the track last night with hopes of hitting 12.5xx...got a little closer, but no dice. My best run of the night was a 12.647 @ 110.359. Previous best was a 12.669 @ 109.56 on a 1.84 60' w/the shorties. The 12.64 run went as follows:

60' 1.923 - arggg
330' 5.340
1/8 8.174
MPH 87.377
1/4 12.647
MPH 110.359

My best MPH of the night was 110.789 and 87.676 in the 1/8 - ran a 12.7 on this pass on a 2.06 60'. I need to start looking into some suspension mods because the car is to the point that it just plain won't hook on the ET Streets. I'm sure some of it is our tracks' horrible prep.

It was 90' last night, so I was glad to see the car do as well as it did. I was happy to hit near 88 and 111 mph. Now if I can get it to hook and get some cool weather, it should run pretty good.

You car seems to run well. Now go get some tires and go when the track is being well prepped.

Thanks. I'm running on 26x10.50 ET Streets - tracks here are rarely prepped very well.

You need to try some ETdrags and some relocation brackets. I bet you would be able to get down in the 1.7's 60'. With only a better 60' you be down in the 12.00-teens . I am glad I have an auto for that reason only. I ran 1.6 60's with a 2800 converter and 3.42's on motor and 1.5's on the gas yanking the driver tire off the ground on totally stock suspension. Down to the shocks only mod being 1 Airbag RR spring.

Damn you! That's the only advantage of an auto as far as I'm concerned - a nice advantage none the less. LCA relocators will be my next mod. Had you ever ran your car on ET Streets before you got ET Drags?

Definately better with ET drags. The ET streets did well but once they wear a good bit they quit hooking as well. Then i went to ET drags and they hooked well even when the track was poor

I tried to call you the night you guys were down at the track but never heard back from you. Whats going down tonight? Halo? I might just stay home and port the intake and change the oil and little junk like that.
