New best 12.22@110mph
The car is starting to come around. I changed cam, springs, timing chain, transmission and converter. So I have beenm working the bugs out the last week or so. The new TH350 is alot different with that high 2.52 1st compared to the 4l60e 3.06 1st and the converter I put in my car was supposed to be a 3800-4000. conv ended up being a 5000 stall. So the car has a 1500rpm range 5000-6500
. Still I brought it to the track and here is my best slip.
1.67 60'
7.78 1/8th no mph shown.

This was about 80degrees out and alot of humidity so I think it did well for first time out. This is with a 3.42 gear and a 3600lb. raceweight. I will be swapping converters this week and doing something with the exhaust still 3inch catback on it. My best pass before all this work was 12.38@109mph last year in 50 degree weather. Later Clint

I am running a 26inch tire and this converter was not built for my exact setup. I am looking for a good 3800-4000 N2o converter so I can run well on the gas. This thing goes straight to 6600rpms everytime i spray it. It's way loose. What brand and stall speed are you running?
I have a dynamic converter 9" J style N2O converter. It stalls to about 4200 rpm's on the transbrake and to about 4800 on the bottle. It is very tight on the motor but man does it work on the bottle. The car has slowed down considerably with the 3.70 gears and 28" tall tire...only went an 11.9@115 with a bogging 1.75 60ft. I love the converter I got...they company nailed it the first time out. Check them out www.dynamicconverters.com
