New best (11.48) .. video inside
Air was cool .. tires were sticky . the only problem that kept me away from making a 10 second pass was that i didnt have enough gas in my tank and my fuel pressure dropped and shut off my N2O after the 1st shift ... i also let off at the 1000 mark cuz the car kept pulling to the side (my car runs 117 mph NA and 120 on a 50 shot .. so 119 on a 100 shot is obviously whacky)
I launched on the 2 step at 5000 rpm with a 100 shot... witnesses say i yanked the fronts about 1.5 feet in the air but the car instantly bogged ... i dunno what im doing wrong .. and why its bogging down like that ...
i do use a relay to keep the N2O OFF when im sitting on my 2 step .. so as soon as i dump the 2 step the N2O kicks in (lines are purged and pressure is up) but i still get that split second delay that makes my car bog down after yanking the fronts
1) should i spray the nitrous when im sitting on the 2 step ?(i load the drivetrain using line lock and slipping the clutch a tad when im staged)
2) or should i just put my 2 step up to 6000 rpm or something?
anyway .. heres the timeslip and video .. (ps, ignore the 2nd run, i kept getting out of it cuz i had 8.5 psi in the tires by mistake and i also creeped at the line) ..
