Need info on 05 mustang GT's

Ah, the classic chevy/ford rivalry lives on...

A friend of ours bought a 05 gt last year. We ran them and my 94 LT1 came out on top with the time in my sig against 13.99 @ 101 mph (2.1 - 2.2 60's) for the GT. We made a couple of bets for the upcoming season, and he thinks that with the addition of tuning, intake and pulleys to his stang, he will run a 108 mph trap. I took him up on this bet, but wanted your opinions to see how receptive the newer stangs are to mods - what should a mustang run with these mods?

Thanks

Mike

Does he know you now have spray?? I'd put all my money on your car too if you spray! I honestly have NO IDEA how 'Stangs respond to mods like intake and pullies? But even your 13.7 @ 105 (that's w/all the mods in your sig except nitrous, right? ) is pretty much into LS1 territory, and I know that LS1's are ahead of 'Stangs, but like I said, I'm not sure how they perform with mods? It could be more of a driver's race.

Correct.. the 13.7 is w/o nitrous (would be kind of sad if that was on the spray heheheh). Im hoping for mid 12's @ 115ish on the spray.

I should have made it more clear - the bet isnt about who will win between us, but whether or not he can hit 108 mph traps on an 05 stang with muffler, intake, tuning and pulleys. He ran the 101 with just the muffler.. but Im thinking 7 mph is going to be kind of hard to come by with just those mods.

Not with those mods I wouldn't think. I'm not sure either how well these cars respond to mods.
