Mission accomplished... N/A 11 second Bolt-On LT1!!!
Well I've been busting my a$$ for a while now to reach this goal and last night (1/17) it all paid off. With a combo of GREAT air & awesome track prep I was able to lay down some great #'s.
1st run of the night was a 12.06 @ 110.68 with a 1.59 60'... spun.
2nd run= a 12.005 @ 110.72 on a 1.56 60'... dropped .5Lb air each tire
3rd run= a 11.97 @ 110.86 on a 1.55 60'... dropped another .5 Lb air and softened the pass side shock
These three runs were all within a 15 minute period with an air temp of 43*. After the 3rd run I was booted for no cage.
Luckily Frank95Z pulled some strings and was able to get me one more "unofficial" NT run then shut it down for the night.
For this run I pulled the belt off to see if it would do much... I was surprised by the MPH gain. Also the air was down to 37* at this point and the track was cooling, so I dropped 1 more Lb out of each tire... 18psi each.
4th run= 11.94 @ 111.50 on a 1.53 60'.
The normal set up for this car is a set of BFG DR's with skinnies up front and full exhaust, this has been good for 12.07 @ 110.15
Last night I was on ET Drags (my BFGs are showing steel belt) and had the cut out open.
With the 11 lb per tire weight savings over my BFGs I was at a race weight of 3503 last night. Still on pump gas.
Needless to say I'm VERY happy!!!
Thanks again Frank!!!

Congratulations!
A huge congrats Steve!
Well, back to the drawing board, lol!
You da man! I may print this thread. I was telling a few friends just the other day how close a few fellow LT1 guys were getting to tapping on 11's with bolt-ons, and with all the nay-sayers and so on up here, it's great to see that you just proved it not only can be done, but it HAS been done.
You're giving me hope, and I haven't even got to make a pass in half a year!
