Mickey Thompson ET Street Radials
Re: Mickey Thompson ET Street Radials
frmula the main thing limiting the 60' with et streets would be stock stall. It will most likely dead hook.
best 60' i got with the stock stall and et streets was a 1.82 on the way to 11.9 at 117 (n20) and about a 1.95 on motor~13.4@102.

Re: Mickey Thompson ET Street Radials
yeah i was anticipating a dead hook with them...
my cars sick so now i don't even know if im gonna get to try em out this weekend... i left the line at 12-1300 on street tires got a 2.05 60' and landed 13.33 at 104.78 full tank of gas, tire, jack, and about 30 lbs worth of crap in my car... im gonna run it at 1/4 tank of fuel or less... and remove all weight i can then leave it at 1500 and try to dent the floorboard.... its also gonna be 20 degrees + cooler than it was last weekend with a decnet humidity.... i think i can make a 12 out of it.... i hope

Re: Mickey Thompson ET Street Radials
Well the Et street radials are a real good set of tires. I went out last nite with my brand new 325/50/15's. I only got to make 2 n2o passes before they told me to slow down or leave. My car doesn't have a rollbar so the first pass I left easy then sprayed the n2o once the car was about 20-30' out (1.55 60') and ran 10.42@130.5mph with the 150HP jets. Then I pulled up and left on motor then sprayed about 10' out in the 60' and ran a 1.52 60 (driver tire 8inches off the ground) and 10.31@130.8mph which is the quickest I have run on 150HP n2o.

I just bought a set, let me know how you did

I will be using either the 275/60/15 or 325/50/15 if I can fit them.
How do these compare to ET Streets or ET Drags? I especially value feedback from someone who has used the radials and also the bias ply tires for a true comparison.
I make 476 RWHP and 521 RWTQ do you think I can hook with the radials?

On my daily driver 94 camaro with nitrous
the best with 27x10.50x15 et streets---1.58 60 ft.
so far with 255/50-16 MT drag radials---1.55 60 ft.
on the motor--- 1.68 60 ft.
I run them @ 12-14 psi and drive them to/from the track (18 miles each way)@ that pressure.
The stiffer sidewall and radial construction makes for a very steady ride with little to no sway unlike et streets.
The bad part with these tires is the treadwear.
I will be buying a second set at the rate I am wearing these out
