The goat is heavier. End of story.

The Camaro should win, especially from a dig, but the cars run pretty similar times in the quarter mile, so the driver mod is a very important factor here.

Off!

If your tires spin hard off the line, let up just a little so that they can grab, but get back in it soon or the race will be lost.

If they only spin a little, that's a good thing and that means you're doing it right.

Not much needed in the driver mod arena as he said that they are both automatic cars. Auto LS1 goat should be high 13s to low 14s. Auto LS1 F-body should be low to mid 13s.

OP
Leave it in drive
Traction control OFF
Just a little burnout WITHOUT WATER. Stay out of the waterbox.
Left foot on brake, right on the gas, and stall it up only to 1100-1200 rpm
Rollhard into the gas when the 3rd yellow comes on.
If it starts to spin get off the gas then instantly back on it again.

All, the driver's ability to do all the stuff you just listed is exactly what I was referring to.
