Lost trap MPH and running same time???

Well I went to the track tonight to see what my car can do with LTs on and maybe get some low 13s (not setting expectations too high). But to my dismay, my best was a 13.868@100.68 mph. Well my best prior to LTs was 13.804 @ 102.7 but I was expecting 13.1-13.35@105-106.xx. Seems my guess is that I might need an LT4 KM and im getting false knock that retards timing and takes my power away??? Also my stock clutch may not be holding with my DRs although it seemed ok. There was an oil spill/mishap with a newer Cobra that also made the lane I was in a tad slick (stuck in it due to brakcet racing). I'm thinking that those combined could be the cause of my horrible ET and trap. Any input would be appreciated as this really upsets me a little. TIA.

what did the rest of your time slip look like (60', 1/8 mile, etc)? Weather conditions? I was running almost 103 MPH a month or 2 ago, lately I've been lucky to break 100 in the august heat. But if you got a better launch and whatever, but were making less power cuz of the heat, you could be running the same ETs with less power (less mph).

I wouldn't sweat it, last time I went to the track my best was 13.8 at 99.9 with a 2.1 60. that was with all the mods in my sig, since then I've added the lt4km, and pcmforless tuning for the headers and I'm going back this wednesday to better my times. It was probably the humidity that killed your mph

Here's my best time slip:

Reaction---.620
60 ft---------2.136
330 ft-------5.867
1/8 ET------8.936
1/8 MPH---79.77
1000' ET---11.623
1/4 ET------13.869
1/4 MPH----100.68

This run occured during the first round of eliminations after they were forced to start due to that oil spill from that Ford so my car got the time to cool off moreso after I'd had iced the intake for about 30 min previously. The temperature was in the mid 60's with probably a 50-60% humidity.

It could be anything. How is your tune now? A slightly plugged fuel filter can do exactly what happened to you as well, it happened to me before.

Another good thing to point out. I honestly dont know when the last time the fuel filter was changed and I've been meaning to do that. The fuel filter is in need of being changed thats for sure. Could that cause my problem though? Cost me a few tenths and at least 4-5 mph? The power is there but perhaps the car is starving for fuel if the clogged fuel filter is the case and I just didnt know it because its very miniscule. I'll change the fuel filter and possibly throw in an LT4 KM (not sold on the idea but what the heck its only $30). Theres a couple of explanations for my predicament I just hope its this simple.
