Looking for tips - Running KDWs at the strip

New 275/40/17 KDW's went on today and I'd like to wring them out at TnT Friday night.

Have been told not to burn out street radials, just "wipe the dust off". Comments?

How about pressures? Anyone have data on that? I'm running an A4 w/3.23's. Mods in the sig.

Thanx!

Well, If it was me I'd try 22 lbs and smoke them up a little, then spin them out of the box to clean off any grit and try to pick up some VHT they laid down on the way to the start line. That should help you hook up. Good luck!

My experience with KDWs at the track is to not bother ... I couldn't hold traction for diddly ... but there is a certian thrill going down the track and looking at the stands, out of your front window
