I've tried them all. I like the Hoosier the best but they wore out quickly. I currently have MT on my car just because we have a local supplier that has stock. Everything other brand needs to be ordered in or it's an out of town pickup.

Mickey Thompson ET Streets. i have 26x10.5x16 on my stock 95 wheels...the ones in the above post are the street radials

i cut 1.5 60's with them and they have hardly shown any wear for the number of passes i have on them.

i think they cost me about 365 shipped from jegs.

this isnt a tire i would recommend running on the street, even though they are "DOT approved" they are basically a full on slick with grooves cut in them

I have ET Streets also, Ihave only made 6 passes on them, What do you have the tire pressure set at for the track. I also only use these on the track.

Hoosier QTP's work GREAT. Of the tires I have tried the only thing in the same realm of comparison would be MT ET Drags, which aren't DOT approved like the QTP's are. Here's the summit link for some that would work good for stock wheels.

i'm running 14-14.5 psi in them. i have heard a lot of people getting uncomfortable with the car leanin' and rockin' at the end of the track, esp. under braking with anything lower than 18.

but when i first got them, i set them at 18 and went down til i hooked the way i wanted. i am getting 1.5 60's with a stock 2.73 rear end and stock transmission/torque converter. so i say they're hooking well now.

Re: Looking for a good drag slick.

I just received the latest issue of National Dragster (May 26). Mickey Thompson has an add (page 58) for their new "Pro Drag Radial." Which is a true drag slick, but in a new radial design for stockers and super stockers with autos. Does anyone have these new slicks, and if so, how do they perform?

I'm currently using ET Streets and run them at 13.0 to 14.5 psi without any stability or control problems at the line.
