can't really answer your question but wondering what track you go to?

I've only been to St. Thomas Dragway near london and it's terrible

I get high 1.6`s at StThomas with my Et streets and 1.7`s with my 315 Nittos.
Are you going to the F-body-Stang shootout at TMP Today

I'm using the same exact combo as you for the track. Your times are a little better than mine. The track I go too is also BAD.

I used to run size nitto on my car with a vig 3200. IT was an awsome combo.I would run the tires at 18 PSI and I would go around the water box then do along burnout. I would wait till I saw smoke then i would count to 7-10 seconds. You really have to heat them up good to get them to really stiick. then go up to the line and foot stall to say 1500 rpm When the light goes green I get into the gas say half throttle or so I dont floor it for like the first foot then I floor it after i have traction. I would adjust when i floor the gas depending on track prep. This technique averaged me 1.60-1.65 60 fts on stock suspension withthe front swaybar removed. Hope that helps

Hows it going? I think you did everything right at St Thomas.

The problem getting it to hook is more related to weight transfer or the lack of it in your case.

I think the lowering springs are hurting you.

Even when you bolted Romans ET Streets on your 60fts did not improve by much.

Lowering springs are great for the FWD crowd as you don't want weight transfer, but we need that weight to get the tires to plant.

I lower my Nittos to 16-19 psi depending on how sticky the track is.
Never goto street legal Friday nights and expect to get traction.
The best traction you will get in this area is Grandbend or Toronto Motorsports Park on a points day

Ya I will goto both.I was thinking about going this weekend too but I think I will stay home and clean the carpet in my car.It got real muddy from last weekend`s F-body Stang shootout.
Lots of "Mudstains"
