Launch Technique(s)

My friend needs some passes done to see how his new blower set-up worked on his '00 camaro ss, unfortunately he blew his knee out at work and for right now can't work the clutch in his camaro, so he wants me to make a few passes on it during our local tracks test and tune session. I had a 96 coupe that had a 5-speed, but never put much strain on it. I never took my car down to the track and have no experience with doing a burn out or launching a car with a manual tranny from a stand-still and trying to shift gears at high speeds. Any tips or anything or the such would be appreciated.
