Launch help with nittos.(m6 guys)

Are you guys burning out? What are you launching at? Are you feathering or dropping? If you are dropping are you flooring or easing quickly into WOT?

Well, before I put in the street twin, I would do a good burnout to heat those suckers up, then feather the clutch down from about 3500 or so rpm. Unfortunately, I never bettered a 1.96, but on my next run, my clutch went south. Don't ask about how to launch with the street twin, I don't wanna go there.

First off it depends on how slippery your track is how you launch it. My personal experience is that heating them up definately helps them stick... Last time I went to the track I didn't heat them until the last run and to my surprise hot they actually stuck. Bogged the car a little because I had expected them to spin some which caused my 60' to still be junk.

Now my clutch is slipping so no more track time this year. Next spring new clutch and some headers. Prob soon after a new rear end...

BTW at 40F Nittos never hook... lol They spin freely all the way into 4th.
