I just got a 1998 Camaro SS and I did not put anything into it yet. I am wondering if i should go with appearance or speed. I want my car to sound nice, be fast, and look rich. I was think of getting Borla exhaust on my car to make it sound good and maybe a sound system. The car came with a Pionier 6-Disc CD changer and I am looking for a good equal sound system. Please help me with anything you want. If you have suggestions post about them here and please tell me what is good stuff to get.

for looks....wash it zaino it and tint the windows...ok maye lower it our cars do sit like trucks!

speed... do cai mods, and borla does sound sweet! that will get you moving! if it is an auto go 3:73's and 4.10 if stick! with auto get ready for less than stellar as mileage with that gear ratio.
a full exhaust is money well spent. nitto's are good once your stock tires are dead.

I know someone from Hackettstown New Jersey who has Borla exhaust on his camaro and you hear it coming from blocks away! I know that it sounds really nice and my dad has been looking into it...and i was thinking of getting window tints...just need to know what percent you suggest...what do you have?

if you want speed and looks, youll have your work cut out for you

definatly do all the free mods you can. a good exhaust system is a must for image AND performance. gears are good cheap performance enhancers. some DR's would also be money well spent to help get that extra HP to the ground.

for looks, the sky is really the limit. there are several attractive body kits out there right now that are pretty conservative. hundreds of wheel choices to choose from. a lowered stance will definatly help improve the look of your car and when combined with a body kit, gives the ultimate ground sweeping look. tinted windows are also a cheap way to add a good look to your ride.

20 percent tint all the way around will look just right!

jl audio has a box with a 10" sub in it. it hides in your little space across from your spare tire. if you put a small 300 watt amp on it your system will sound really nice. it will not be too bassy but will hit hard when you want it too
