how well do 245 bfg dr's hook?

If your dead hooking with drag radials, no pin at all, then slicks won't improve anything, you're already getting a perfect launch.

If you cut the same 60' with a slicks or an E.T. street as BFG DR's, you will probably have a slower ET and MPH due to the side wall eating up some rwhp.

what kind of burnout would be recommended with these tires?
huge smokes show style burnouts or just get them smoking but not too thick?

Depends on how much HP you've got BFG recommends heating them just enough to get a little smoke coming off of them. That's never worked for me. I use 18-20 PSIG and do a HOT burnout - yeah, lots of smoke. That's how they work best for me.

Raptor, your 60ft listed in your sig, is that on BFG's, if so what size?

Yes, BFG DR's, 255/50-16 - the only 16" DR that BFG makes. I should see some low 1.6 short times this spring on a well prepped track.
