how well do 245 bfg dr's hook?

If your dead hooking with drag radials, no pin at all, then slicks won't improve anything, you're already getting a perfect launch.

BFG recommends heating them just enough to get a little smoke coming off of them. That's never worked for me. I use 18-20 PSIG and do a HOT burnout - yeah, lots of smoke. That's how they work best for me.
