How much should a back half cost?

I want to fit some big tires on an 84 Z28 bracket car, and I want them to fit under the arches and go up into the wells like this:

http://www.racingjunk.com/viewclassifiedad.jsp?id=51201

Was thinkin of around 30x14" tires, but I will settle for 29x12" ish if someone can suggest a way to achieve that same effect (tires going into the well instead of sticking out to the edge of the arch) - I figure if I need a back half to do this, I might as well get the nicer lookin wider tire Is there a way to relocate the LCA's and gain enough clearance to narrow the rear end for a big tire? Or is this a back half, coil over, 4 link/ladder bar kinda deal? If so, how much should it cost? Corvette Masters in Orlando FL are doing my chassis work and told me its around $7,000 for a back half, I'm not sure if that includes all the parts or is only labor, but anyone know if thats the right sorta price range? And do I need it or is there a way to mini-tub a 3rd gen and achieve that same "look"?

I think you would have better luck with a question like this on the "Drag Racing" board.

Moving......

I would say 7000 isn't too bad if it includes most things like shortening the rear end and axles, putting in and setting up the 4-link or ladder bar, and putting the tubs in. By the way, since ladder bars and 4-link are about the same price, i would go with the 4-link most definately. It's a much better suspension once you get it set up, but can be a little trickier to set up. My dad just got a corvette with 4-link in it. We were gonna tub our 85 camaro, and that was i think around 6000 in north dakota, and the guy was giving us a little bit of a discount.

Thanks for the reply! Went over to talk to Robby at Vette Masters about it yesterday, he says that it's $5000 including an S&W Racecars rear frame kit (which includes rear frame, coil over shocks, ladder bars, subframe connectors, etc complete rear frame) - for $400 extra they provide a Ford 9" rear end housing so all I need is the axles and the center section. And since he's already doing my cage etc, some of the labor is already included in the original agreement so it'll save maybe $1000 or so. So I decided to go for it, 15x14" rims with something like a 30x15.5" tire, apparently thats a good combination for high horsepower small blocks since a bigger tire than that would cause too much roll-out time and is ideally suited to big blocks.

And yes I agree that a 4 link is my best choice, I emailed S&W to ask if the 82-92 Camaro is available in a 4 link version, hopefully it is, since they do offer 4 link's for other cars.
