How do you guys launch your M6?

How do you guys with good 60's launch your M6? Traction of course is a problem but I was wondering what methods you guys are using and to what success.

Thanks.

Well, I've had some different methods.

When internally stock, WOT off the 6k MSD rev limiter (stock rev limiter raised to 7200), then flipping the nitrous on as I dropped the clutch. Without the nitrous, she would bog.

Now.....I haven't got down a good N/A launch for the car; always seems to bog. Think I need to hook up my "two step" on my Digital 6 for my N/A launches. With the bottle, I just rev her to around 5k, and as I drop the clutch (basically just lift my foot really quickly), I mash the gas to activate the nitrous. This has netted me a best of a 1.67 60' so far, without a lot of track prep.

Stock front suspension, heavy car (basically no weight reduction but plenty of addition), 51lb each front wheels/tires, 26x11.5x16 ET Streets, and a bunch of rear suspension stuff. Of course a 12-bolt, Star Stage III Carbon clutch, Spohn 3" Steel DS.

If you are running N/A it is a fine line to find between bogging and spinning. When I raced with street tires I had to keep the rpms around 2500 to 2800 or it would spin off the line. When I got the Nittos I was dumping the clutch at 4500-5000 and all it would do was grab and bog. When I used the nitrous I would come out about 4000 and it seemed to hook and go with the Nittos. Now that I have a stroker and a 12 bolt I come out of the hole on ET Drags around 5000 on the juice and she just takes off. I have netted 60s in the 1.5 range consistently but like I said I have a 12 bolt and a lot of suspension work.
