Some guys just unbolt the endlinks and tie it up somehow. Some of the others remove it completely.
It helps the front end rise quicker/higher for weight transfer in drag racing.
I ripped mine off little under 2 years ago and havent seen it since.

How well do F-bodys handle on the street with no front sway bar??? I wouldn't think it would be too bad since it's pretty low. I had no sway bar on a coil spring Jeep a few years back & it wasn't bad at all as long as you took it easy in turns.

My 3rd gen handles fine without it, especially when I had the 16x8 wheels all the way around. 4th gen cars should do fine since they have better suspension than third gens.

Put the car on ramps. Unbolt the endlinks with a 13mm socket and a 13mm wrench. I don't feel that removing the whole thing makes much difference. It's only 11 pounds. I just do the end links after I had mine off and weighed it.

Mine has been gone for some time as well. It does handle different can't take the turns as fast as I use to.
