high mileage & internally stock LT1's inside

I have been turning some decent times on my daily driver right here lately, Im Just wondering how im stacking up against other LT1's that are internally stock and have high mileage.

I have a 1994 Trans AM with 145,000 miles on the motor. My main mods are PCMFORLESS.com tune, 3" cutout, morso cold air, and Nitto 555R Drag Radials. My rear end is stock, my tranny is stock, my engine is stock (stock rockers, stock cam) (valve covers and intake have NEVER been off), stock manifolds, stock exhaust except for the 3" cutout and a flowmaster muffler.

My recent best was a 8.42@81 MPH in the 1/8th mile and a 13.30@101 MPH in the quarter mile. I usually have a 1.8 60ft time on my nittos.

whats everyone else running? I don't see many high mileage Lt1's at the track that run on motor.

Nice times. Especially to have such a high mileage motor. What is your best 60'?

1.83 60ft's is about the best i have on nittos with 21 lbs in them.

I have also noticed lately the clutches in my rear end are starting to go because when I do a burnout sometimes my left tire doesn't turn.

I think my next two mods are going to be 1.6 RR's and a 3.73 gear. Hopefully the rear end and 4L60E will stay together by then.

137k on my motor, stock internally with lots of bolt ons.
13.4 @ 104 with a 2.0 sixty foot.
I think the car would run a 12 if I could get the damn thing to hook up, 275 Nittos, Eibach drag launch kit, BMR torque arm and I still spin hard off the line.

75k mile stock shortblock LT1 with a built 4L60E and 10-bolt. Best time in sig spinning a bit out the hole. 10's are easily there.

Good Times.. Def. w/ some LT's you'll be easily in the 12's.. I'd say save your $$$and get some LT's rather than RR's.. You'll gain more for your buck...

1.6 RR's won't give you that much in a stock motor. Like a couple of the other's, I would go with some LT headers first and a good cat back to go with them.

On the '94 TA in my sig, it came without even being at WOT after 1000 ft due to what sounded like spark knock. 137,xxx miles and still running stock converter, stock 3.23 gears, hardtop auto on street tires (only 1 pass).

Moroso CAI
Vortech Intake Elbow
Descreened MAF
TB Bypass
NGK TR-55's
Flowmaster Cat-back
LT4KM
MSD Coil
Poly Tranny Mount
160 Powerstat
HPP (shift points/fan switch)
BBK Panhard
Lakewood LCA's
KYB rear shocks
Lakewood airbag in right rear (10lbs.)

oh...forgot... 13.94 or thereabouts slowing down.
you're running very respectable times that stock!

My 93 had a best time of 13.4 and a best mph of 104 with 183,000 miles on it, with street tires (2.0 60' )

My 95 has 93,000 miles on it but I haven't had it to the track yet.

Time in sig...that was with a 2.01 60'

I've since fixed the knock retard and injector issues and some shorties are going on this weekend, so I'll be looking for 13.0s.

My 4L60E recently decided to go on me. It was a rebuilt so im not dropping another dime in it. Im putting in a Turbo350 trans, shift kit, a big stall, and some other mess.
