help with slicks

I'm getting ready to buy some drag slicks. These 2.4 second 60' times are killing me after a little work to the engine and new trans. I'm looking at MH 26x9" on steel 15" cragars but I have no experience to base an opinion off of. So I need some help deciding what to do with a smallish budget. Probably <$500. Any thoughts are greatly appreciated. Thanks, Chris

if you wanna drive it on the street you gonna need drag radials, MT, ET/ STREETS would prolly handle your mods, and there street legal so no worries from the cops, they do need a good burn out to get sticky in most cases

Actually Nitto drag radials will handle his power nicely and last 3 times as long on the street.
