Help me with dyno guesses...

I still have not run my car on the dyno, but I will in the next few weeks. This is in my 91 Firebird Formula. Question is, what do you guys think I'll put down? I have a 355 small block 10.5:1 compression ratio, 4 bolt main w/ forged Weisco flat top pistons, stage II connecting rods, ground stock crankshaft for the shortblock. I have Dart Iron Eagle Platnium 215cc/64cc cylinder heads. Clevite 246/246 @ .050, .531/.531 INT/EXT solid lifter camshaft with the Scorpion 1.6 roller rockers, performer RPM intake manifold and a freshly rebuilt Holley 650 DP. Exhaust consist of Hooker Super Comp 1-3/4" long tube headers and a custom 3" y-pipe to a custom 4" exhaust over the axle w/ a dynomax bullet muffler. All backed by a T-56 Transmission to 3.73 Richmond gears and a Zexel posi unit. Could somebody give me an educated guess on how this car will do HP/TQ wise, or quarter mile wise roughly? The only suspension mods I have are UMI SFC's and Lakewood lower control arms, poly torque arm bushing and drag radials.

Give me your opinion.

Definately do some tuning with a wideband O2 sensor while on the dyno. Stock 650dp jetting shouldn't be sufficient with that head/cam combo @ 355 cubes. If they don't have one, I'd invest in one, prefferably an Innovate LM-1 w/ rpm kit. Shoot for 12.5:1 air/fuel ratio at full throttle and an idle of 14:1 air/fuel roughly. It should cruise and idle at a high/lean a/f ratio to stay clean and get good gas mileage, especially with a T56.

I'd rather see it with a Super Victor intake myself because it will want a good amount of rpm. Probably in the 6400-6600rpm for the shift. It should make most of it's hp in the 6000-6500 range but the dyno will tell. Dyno's vary big time but on your normal dynojet my guess is 350-360 at the wheels. With a Holley 750HP and Super Victor I'd say closer to 385'ish. Torque will be the same. That's assuming 15% drivetrain loss from trans/rearaxle...roughly 430-450 at the flywheel. In a magazine, you have a 475-500hp combo but lets assume you'll have a full accessory drive which does kill a bit of power. At 3500lbs, and no tire slip, I'd guess 11's if you can shift it like a champ...goodluck!
